With Google AdWords™, you’ll be able to reach your customers at the precise
moment they’re looking for your products or services. When users search on Google,
they’re demonstrating which products they’re interested in. With AdWords ads, your
customers will see your ad next to relevant search results they’ve requested. In
addition, your ads could also appear on relevant search and content sites within the
Google Network. With Google’s precise targeting and your ability to control how much
you’re willing to pay per click, the end result is a higher return on investment (ROI) for

Pass the Google Advertising Professional Exam

by Heath on Jul.14, 2009, under Web Marketing

I finally took the time to take the Google Advertising Professional Exam.  Since I have been using AdWords now for 1315 days I figured I should know some of the answers.  Here is what I did to pass it.

In the AdWords learning center I took all the quizzes, if I did badly on a subject I reviewed the lesson.  Also when you got a quiz question wrong it would give you a good explanation of the right answer.

You will need to study.  I would say even if you are an AdWords expert you would only get about half the question correct without studying.

The test itself:

90 minutes for 110 questions.

I would say at least 10 of the question did not make a whole lot sense. You have to read the question very carefully because I found several instances if I hadn’t re-read the question I would have gotten it wrong.

You have enough time to look up about 20 questions so if you think you can just look up all the answer that is not going to work for you.

I didn’t have any question on the following subject Google Analytics, Payments Outside the U.S., Account Types, Setup and Structure.

Google Plans a PC Operating System

by Heath on Jul.09, 2009, under Computer Sales

Google announced it was developing an operating system for PCs that is tied to its Chrome Web browser.

I will be interested to see it work, I don’t think it will have much impact but competition is good. Linux based operating systems have been around forever and work well, but still few people use them. People don’t like change and Microsoft will continue to dominate the Operating System market.

by Heath on Jun.30, 2009, under Tech Support

One or more rules could not be uploaded to Exchange server and have been deactivated.

Export your old rules(outlook /cleanrules will remove your current Rules)

go to run and type: outlook /cleanrules

opening outlook with the /cleanrules switch will get rid of any corrupt rules that are preventing you from copying the rules to the exchange server.
